About This Role:
We are a Woodland Hills personal injury, mid-size trial law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience (Plaintiff and/or Defense). The ideal candidate thrives on hard work, relentless preparation, and possesses exceptional deposition skills. You should be eager to learn and thrive under mentorship, yet ready to hit the ground running from day one.
We are looking for an associate with a working knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practices who is driven and motivated to succeed. Our litigation department is built around a team structure. Each attorney is paired with a dedicated paralegal and support staff, and teams participate in regular round-table discussions and case reviews. Caseload ranges from 40–50 cases of varying value. In addition to your assigned caseload, you will have opportunities to lead, assist, and participate in trials.
Requirements:
- Must be an attorney licensed in California and in good standing, without any pending disciplinary action.
- At least 5 years of Attorney Personal Injury experience (Plaintiff and/or Defense).
- Proven track record as a hard-working attorney who takes ownership of files and consistently produces high-quality work.
- Exceptional deposition skills; comfortable taking and defending complex depositions with confidence and precision.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Eager to learn, grow, and perform responsibilities to the best of their ability, and strive to excel.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
