About the role:
We are looking for a Litigation Attorney, preferably with at least five years of experience, to join our expanding team. This position provides the opportunity to take ownership of complex matters from initial intake through the pre-trial phase, with meaningful client engagement and hands-on case management. The ideal candidate is results-driven, confident in litigation strategy, and experienced in handling discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. Litigation matters will focus on construction cases, labor and employment law, discrimination matters, and general commercial litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
- Manage litigation matters from inception through pre-trial, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
- Draft, review, and argue motions (dispositive and non-dispositive) in state and federal courts
- Discovery: Conducting and managing the discovery process, including taking and defending depositions
- Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneys
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration proceedings
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and advisory opinions
- Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients, property managers, and board members
- Collaborate with colleagues on high-profile cases and firm initiatives
- Attend occasional board meetings to provide litigation updates or guidance
- Case Management: Overseeing cases from inception to resolution, including strategy development and client advisement
- Court Appearances: Representing clients in court, including trials, hearings, and mediations
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York
- 5+ years of litigation experience, with a solid background in pre-trial proceedings
- Familiarity with community association law, zoning regulations, and local governance structures is advantageous
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed analytical thinking and organizational skills
- Dedicated to client service, with the ability to juggle multiple cases effectively
- Able to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Compensation:
$150,000 per year DOE
