This is an entry level position that offers a new lawyer an opportunity to develop her / his litigation skills while working in a congenial atmosphere.Doucette & French, P.C. is a family-friendly law firm that handles a wide variety of work. From our established long-term client base with various major New England Utility companies to our civil and family law clients, we handle cases that are diverse and challenging. The firm was established 25 years ago, and our founding partner has over 40 years of experience in litigation. We have a team-based approach to our work, creating a working environment that is friendly, fun and relaxed.
We are looking for a litigation associate to join our established practice. Our ideal candidate is independent, confident, self-starting and organized. This is a great opportunity for someone to handle their own cases, while working closely with experienced litigation attorneys. The associate will handle all aspects of litigation from the initial complaint through discovery. This is not a boring desk job; our chosen litigation attorney will manage their own schedule - balancing research and client management. This position will include court appearances early in the attorney's professional development.
