Interested in leaving Big Law? Just looking to make a move? We are looking to hire an experienced, full-time litigation associate in our Hackensack, NJ office. Our firm practices in the areas of general business litigation, chancery litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, debtor/creditor disputes, real estate litigation, arbitration and mediation, and personal injury litigation and workers compensation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling litigation cases from beginning to end, excellent analytical skills, and a strong commitment to client service.Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, business torts, and other complex commercial disputes.
- Personal injury litigation/workers compensation
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective case strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NY an NJ Bar and in good standing for at least 3 years.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
