Position Overview:We Are Seeking a Talented and Experienced Associate Attorney with 7+ Years of Trial Experience to Join Our Esteemed Expanding Litigation Department. This Role Is Critical to Our Operations and Requires a Solid Foundation in General Legal Principles Couples with Experience in Litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Litigation Matters as Part of A Team from Inception Through Resolution;
- Conduct Thorough Legal Research, Draft Pleadings, Motions and Other Court Documents;
- Manage a Caseload of Litigation Matters, Ensuring All Deadlines Are Met;
- Represent Clients in Court, Including Conducting Trials, Hearings and Depositions;
- Maintain Regular and Detailed Communication with Clients, Providing Updates and Legal Advice;
- Collaborate with Other Attorneys and Legal Staff to Ensure the Highest Quality of Legal Services.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (jd) Degree from An Accredited Law School.
- Admission to The New York State Bar.
- A Minimum of Five Years of Litigation Experience.
- Strong Analytical, Legal Research and Writing Skills.
- Proven Track Record in Handling Litigation Cases from Inception Through Trial.
- Ability to Work as Part of A Team and Independently to Manage Multiple Priorities in A Fast-Paced Environment.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
