The Position:
Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in New York
3 to 5 years of litigation experience
Experience with general liability insurance
Experience with other insurance defense including, premise liability, construction, construction defect, NY labor law, asbestos, toxic torts, a plus
Strong communication, writing, and research skills

Responsibilities:

Work on multiple cases simultaneously from inception through trial as part of a coordinated defense litigation team
Attend/conduct depositions for multiple types of defendants regarding different types of products
Primary drafting of client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases and other legal filings
Argument of motions and attendance at conferences before NY Judges, and arguments and conferences before the Special Master.
