Mathis Law Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our Firm. This is a full-time, remote position, with the opportunity for a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage a litigation caseload, overseeing cases from beginning to end and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to transportation laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials demonstrating strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, leveraging your expertise to achieve favorable outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Firm to contribute to a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Develop and implement proactive resolution strategies, providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
3-7+ years of general litigation experience.
First and/or second chair experience is highly desirable.
Trial preparation experience required.
Transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience preferred, but not required.
Deposition and motion practice experience essential.
Superior analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and fast-paced environment.
Sophisticated technical skills necessary.
