Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented California Lemon Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Duties:
- Manage and oversee lemon law cases from inception through resolution, including client consultations, case evaluation, and strategy development
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case arguments and stay updated on relevant statutes and regulations
- Draft detailed legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel
- Negotiate favorable settlements with manufacturers or their representatives to ensure clients receive appropriate compensation or vehicle replacements
- Represent clients in negotiations and at hearings or court proceedings related to lemon law claims
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s)
- California Bar License
- Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly within discovery and motion practice
- Proficiency in legal research platforms
- Excellent legal drafting, writing skills, and attention to detail for preparing comprehensive legal documents
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients' best interests
