  • Our firm consists of 12 attorneys with our main office in Agoura Hills. We are currently seeking to expand our litigation department with talented attorneys looking for a long-term career opportunity.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of civil litigation experience to join our Agoura Hills office.

This position is primarily litigation focused, handling HOA-related disputes from inception through resolution. Because we are a boutique firm, attorneys also assist with occasional general counsel matters, providing legal advice to HOA boards and reviewing contracts and governing documents when needed.

HOA or real estate litigation experience is strongly preferred but not required. We welcome experienced litigators interested in building a specialized practice representing community associations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, law and motion, mediation, arbitration, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Represent HOA clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Advise HOA boards of directors and community managers regarding litigation strategy and risk management.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist with limited general counsel matters, including contract review, governing document interpretation, and day-to-day legal advice.
  • Independently manage an active caseload while working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications:
  • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • HOA, real estate, construction defect, business litigation, or insurance defense experience preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple cases.
  • Trial experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $175,000 – $185,000, depending on experience.
  • Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with substantial HOA or directly related experience.
  • $5,000 Signing Bonus (paid after 90 days)
  • Monthly billable requirement of just 155 hours
