Position Overview
This is a senior-level role designed for a seasoned litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of contested and uncontested foreclosure files, providing strategic advocacy from inception through trial. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of Florida real estate law and a proven track record of success in the courtroom.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Management: Oversee a robust caseload of mortgage foreclosure files, managing both contested and uncontested matters.
Courtroom Advocacy: Attend and lead hearings, depositions, and non-jury trials across Florida circuits.
Document Excellence: Review and draft complex pleadings, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, motions for default, and final judgments.
Discovery & Analysis: Lead the discovery process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in evidentiary review and legal analysis.
Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for institutional clients, providing regular updates and strategic legal counsel.
Mentorship: Provide informal leadership and guidance to junior associates or legal support staff (prior managerial experience is highly valued).

Qualifications

Licensure: Juris Doctor (JD) and an active Florida Bar License in good standing (Required).
Experience: 7–10 years of legal practice, with a specific focus of at least 5 years in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
Trial Expertise: Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically handling foreclosure trials.
Skills: * Exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
Superior written and verbal communication skills for high-level client interfacing.
The ability to work independently with a self-motivated, "ownership" mindset.
Mobility: Ability to travel occasionally as required for hearings or firm business.

Hybrid Schedule: A minimum of three (3) full days per week in our Deerfield Beach office.
