Description:
Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci LLP, a 30-attorney law firm representing business and commercial law clients in complex litigation and sophisticated transactional and corporate matters, is seeking an attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience for a full-time position in its beautiful downtown St. Petersburg, FL location.Qualifications:
- Ability to handle all aspects of caseload through arbitration/trial, including taking depositions, answering discovery, preparing trial pleadings, attending mediation, attending court appearances and related work;
- Willing to take cases to trial and arbitration;
- Familiarity with Florida and Federal rules of civil procedure, court deadlines, civil filing procedures and e-filing;
- Tenaciously pursue defenses on our clients' behalf, employing creative strategies and tactics designed to achieve the ultimate objectives in a case;
- Ability to interact with the clients and assist with various issues that may arise in their business;
- Give seminars for clients when necessary;
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of cases;
- Ability to review and evaluate medical records;
- Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated;
- Excellent communication, writing and research skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects;
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, professional staff and peers;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook), Westlaw and/or Lexis;
- Florida Bar admission required
