GardaWorld Security Services US, a part of GardaWorld, one of the largest privately owned security companies in the world, is hiring a Litigation and Compliance Attorney.

The Litigation and Compliance Attorney will provide advice to the Assistant General Counsel for Employment Litigation (“AGC”) and the business team on various statutes and codes, will manage litigation in both state and federal forums, and will manage and defend Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and state agency charges. From time to time, the Litigation Counsel may provide broader advice to company management as a member of the legal team.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Quality assurance team leadership to ensure operational compliance with laws.
  • Initial review of EEOC and state agency charges and conferring with the AGC on a strategy to defend all charges.
  • Intake of filed litigation and conferring with the AGC and General Counsel on defense strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • J.D. from a qualified U.S. law school
  • California Bar membership a plus
  • Two to five years of experience working as a law firm litigator.
  • Expertise in state and federal litigation.
  • Wage-hour litigation experience preferred.
