Description:

A Jacksonville Business Law Firm seeks to hire an associate to work in its Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a strong interest in commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Litigation Support: Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and assist in preparing depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
  2. Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to provide accurate and well-reasoned advice to clients and contribute to case strategies.
  3. Document Management: Organize and manage case files, legal documents, and evidence to ensure efficient case progression and adherence to deadlines.
  4. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with colleagues across various practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to The Florida Bar and in good standing
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
