Description:
A Jacksonville Business Law Firm seeks to hire an associate to work in its Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a strong interest in commercial litigation.Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Support: Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and assist in preparing depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to provide accurate and well-reasoned advice to clients and contribute to case strategies.
- Document Management: Organize and manage case files, legal documents, and evidence to ensure efficient case progression and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with colleagues across various practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to The Florida Bar and in good standing
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
