Come join our team of talented IP attorneys at Intellectual Property Lawyers!The Litigation Associate will support the firm's IP litigation practice group by managing a variety of legal tasks related to intellectual property disputes. While a technical background is not required, candidates should possess a solid foundation in general litigation and demonstrate strong legal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex matters independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and briefs for IP disputes
- Handle discovery requests, including drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and depositions
- Assist with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other forums
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos on non-patent intellectual property issues
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case review as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- 2-4 years of general litigation experience
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently
- Competent in legal research and document management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
