Description:
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C. seeks an associate with two to four years of complex litigation experience to join its Baltimore office, supporting both its Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. We are seeking academically distinguished candidates with excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial work. Experience in commercial litigation and creditors' rights—including commercial loan workouts, foreclosures, and bankruptcy—is preferred. Specific experience in construction law and litigation is also a plus, as is a background in engineering, architecture, or construction management. This position offers meaningful responsibility in a sophisticated and active practice involving complex litigation, commercial disputes, and construction-related matters. The associate will work closely with experienced litigation shareholders across both practice areas, receiving active mentoring, direct client exposure, and hands-on professional development. The successful candidate will assume responsibility in a dynamic and diverse practice that includes both litigation and transactional components. We seek a bright, hardworking individual with strong judgment, attention to detail, and a desire to advance within a shareholder-track role.
