Clyde & Co US LLP is seeking a litigation attorney to join our growing Seattle office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure litigation matters alongside a collaborative team of experienced trial lawyers in one of the firm's fastest-growing offices.This practice handles a diverse mix of sophisticated litigation, including high-
value commercial disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and bad faith litigation matters.
What You'll Do:
- Participate in all phases of complex litigation from case inception through resolution, including trial preparation and trial support.
- Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation management.
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
- Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
- Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
- Possesses excellent academic credentials.
- Is admitted to practice in WA and in good standing with the bar.
- Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Has strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Has the ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
- Has effective problem-solving skills.
- Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Has an interest in insurance coverage and coverage litigation matters.
