Join One of the Fastest-Growing Personal Injury Litigation Firms in the U.S.Slocumb Law Firm — one of the fastest-growing Personal Injury litigation firms in the U.S. — is adding experienced attorneys to its Washington, DC office to support continued case volume and client needs.
Attorneys in this role manage Personal Injury cases from intake through trial, operating with a high level of autonomy while working within the firm's established litigation systems and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Personal Injury cases from initial intake and evaluation through resolution, including pre-litigation and litigation stages.
- Handle pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediation, and trial as cases progress.
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with clients.
- Exercise sound judgment, preparation, and ownership over assigned matters.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including case managers, intake specialists, and administrative staff.
- Adhere to firm-wide litigation systems, standards, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed and in good standing in Washington, DC (required)
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Maryland and/or Virginia (required)
- (Candidates licensed in DC only will be considered only if they are willing and able to obtain licensure in Maryland or Virginia within a reasonable timeframe.)
- Candidates licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia are strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience handling Personal Injury matters
- Strong advocacy, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload from intake through trial
- Professional maturity and results-driven mindset
