The Position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with discovery requests and responses
- Draft pretrial motions
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners
- Efficiently conduct legal research
- Assist in preparation of cases for trial
Qualifications:
- JD from an Accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin or qualified for reciprocal admission
- 2+ years of defense litigation
- Experience handling general liability, construction, transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
