Description:
Job Summary:A Litigation Associate Attorney is a licensed lawyer who supports partners by managing caseloads, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting depositions. Key responsibilities include client communication, preparing for trials, and meeting billable hour requirements. This role requires strong legal writing, analytical skills, and often involves navigating negotiations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handling a portfolio of cases from initiation through resolution, including pre-litigation and trial preparation.
- Conducting thorough legal research and drafting documents such as briefs, contracts, motions, and affidavits.
- Assisting with depositions, document review, and court hearings.
- Meeting regularly with clients, providing advice, and conducting consultations.
- Engaging in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel.
- Participating in firm marketing, networking, or business development activities to expand client bases.
- Meeting firm-specific annual billable hour targets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Juris doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school required.
- Active license to practice law and membership in state Bar.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
