Description:
A boutique law firm located in Garden City, NY, seeks a full-time associate attorney with comprehensive civil litigation experience. Experience handling commercial, contractual, and/or real estate disputes preferred, but not required.Responsibilities:
- Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in a variety of legal matters
- Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and develop case strategies
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, both in and out of court
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and work product
- Maintain accurate and current billing records
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted and in good standing in New York State
- Proven civil litigation experience, including but not limited to dispositive motions, depositions, and oral argument
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; writing, analysis, research, and organization skills
- Communicates clearly and concisely
- Interest in developing business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, legal research, and case management software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $142,500.00 per year
