Salary Range: $180,000.00 To $200,000.00 AnnuallyAvanci is seeking a dynamic and strategic Licensing Counsel to support its global licensor community and drive impactful patent licensing initiatives. In this role, you will lead efforts to develop and maintain strong relationships with licensors, facilitate clear and effective communication, and manage complex licensing negotiations. Your work will contribute to building streamlined, forward-looking licensing frameworks that reflect the evolving landscape of technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary liaison for participating licensors, overseeing all aspects of platform operations and engagement.
- Identify and onboard new licensors through targeted marketing and business development efforts, promoting the value of joint licensing via Avanci.
- Lead and support licensing negotiations in collaboration with legal, technical, and operational teams.
- Partner with internal and external legal professionals to design and implement licensing structures that enhance platform participation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or international equivalent).
- Knowledge of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs).
- Significant experience in one or more of the following areas: patent prosecution, patent litigation, or patent licensing.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with strong prioritization skills.
- Collaborative team player with a history of building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to interpret and clearly explain contract terms to both legal and non-legal audiences.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages such as Japanese, Chinese, or Korean is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
