Summary:
The Legal Counsel role will be responsible for providing in-house legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate matters, with a focus on immigration and global mobility. The Legal Counsel reports to the Sr. Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities:

Provide legal support and guidance to the business team and management on a variety of legal issues.
Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of U.S. and global immigration law, including visa petitions, green cards, and naturalization.
Manage and oversee the company's immigration program, ensuring compliance with USCIS, Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of State regulations.
Counsel human resources and management on a wide variety of immigration-related matters.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Provide supervision to outside lawyers hired to assist the company with their specialized legal services.
Design, build, and improve legal team processes.
Consult and protect Qcells against legal risks, penalties, and investigations.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or an equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
A member in good standing with a state bar association.
3+ years of experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm (or a combination of both).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Korean & English).
Experience in the solar industry, energy sector, or manufacturing industry.
