We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in Tampa or Miami, FL.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel with 2-5 years of legal experience to join our dynamic legal team. Under the general direction of the Associate General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will provide contract review, negotiation, legal research and advise to business on a wide range of legal issues, including all matters related to engineering services.
This is a hybrid position that requires to be on-site at least 2 days a week.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Draft, review, analyze and negotiate a wide variety of private and public sector agreements, master service agreements, subcontracts, and other legal documents related to projects pursuits and execution in the US business.
- Examine statutes, decisions and ordinances impacting the company and resolve issues or escalate accordingly.
- Develop templates pertaining to legal and contract matters.
- Participate in the application and monitoring of the company's policies, procedures and rules.
- Work closely with internal clients and the contracts & procurement team to optimize projects and minimize risks to the company.
- Performs such assignments and duties as the Associate General Counsel may deem necessary from time to time.
- Provide legal guidance to Contracts and Procurements team as needed.
- Acts under the general direction of the Associate General Counsel. Ability to work on a broad range of legal topics, manage multiple files, and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Frequent contact with various outside counsels of clients and representatives of outside agencies.
- Ability to understand the client's business needs, providing commercial and timely business solutions, in conjunction with legal advice.
- Juris Doctor Degree.
- Must be licensed to practice law in one of the 50 states.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of corporate/commercial experience at an in-house legal department and/or a leading law firm
- Relevant experience in construction/engineering law and commercial law is an asset but is not a pre-condition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using and willingness to embrace legal AI tools.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary
- High level of independence, with the ability to work under pressure while modeling high ethical standards for our business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
