What You'll Do:
A Clothing Supplier Company is in search of hiring a Corporate Legal Counsel. This is a full-time, mid-level position that is integral to the legal department and A Clothing Supplier Company as a whole. The successful candidate will be a proactive worker who is enthusiastic about taking on the crucial responsibilities listed below as well as others if and when a need arises.
  • Draft, review, and revise agreements, including manufacturing agreements, content licenses, influencer, content purchase agreements, collaboration agreements, sponsorship agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation and release agreements, and brand ambassador agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate, in coordination with the business team, global distributor and international license agreements, with the ability to understand the business team's goals.
  • Redline master services agreements and their related SOW, or SaaS, with vendors, suppliers, Ecomm and IT.
  • Litigation, subpoena and dispute support, including investigating potential claims, document collection, and legal hold preparation.
  • Communicate with other departments, including department heads and executives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:
  • Member in good standing with the California Bar
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all client and business matters
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a collaborative teamwork environment and share information with the appropriate parties
  • Comfortable working with executives and department heads outside of the legal team
  • Comfortable communicating and drafting agreements with partners/collaborators outside of A Clothing Supplier Company (both attorneys and non-attorneys)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and a demonstrable ability to learn any department-specific software
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all situations
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally and educationally diverse environment
  • This position requires some hours at our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA; however, some duties can be performed remotely.
