What you will do:
- Develop and maintain global data privacy, AI governance, and compliance policies aligned with evolving regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act).
- Partner with Security, Product, and Engineering to ensure privacy-by-design and compliance-by-default in all AI systems and cloud platforms.
- Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements (DPAs) and compliance clauses with customers and vendors.
- Lead incident response legal coordination, including breach notifications, investigations, and communications.
- Monitor global regulatory changes and advise executives on emerging risks and legal strategies for AI and data operations.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience We Look for
- Advanced degree in Law (J.D. or LL.M.).
- At least 5 years of experience working in global SaaS/AI companies.
- Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating asynchronously.
- Strong communication skills with empathy.
