Description:
The Role:We're looking for an attorney with 2+ years of experience in family law to manage a diverse caseload. You'll handle cases from initial consultation to resolution, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Child custody and support
- Adoption
- Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
- Domestic violence issues
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a full caseload of family law matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to understand their needs and provide sound legal advice.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain a current understanding of family law statutes and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the state bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage a demanding caseload and work independently.
- A compassionate and client-focused approach to law.
