Job Description:You will collaborate with outside counsel as needed and deliver compliance training to internal UOP and Honeywell stakeholders. Proactively identify and mitigate potential legal risks, develop strategies to prevent costly litigation and minimize exposure across the organization.
You will report directly to our General Counsel, and you'll work out of our Rosemont, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft licensing agreements, engineering agreements, guarantee agreements, alliance agreements, equipment sales agreements, collaboration agreements, distributorship agreements, channel partner agreements and sales and purchase of products agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders to help sell new products and offerings.
- Negotiate agreements with external customers and suppliers.
- Settle customer and supplier disputes.
- Provide compliance trainings and guidance on antibribery/anticorruption, sanctions, export controls, and competition law.
- Interpret new laws and regulations and their impact on the business.
- Provide coaching and development for junior lawyers.
- Perform due diligence and integration work related to mergers, acquisitions and other strategic investments.
Qualifications:
You must have:
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- 5 plus years of law firm or in-house experience.

- The annual base salary range for this position is $161,000 - $201,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
