Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, the ability to conduct thorough legal research, and proficiency in legal drafting. The successful applicant will be responsible for representing clients in legal matters, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties:
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies in various legal proceedings.
  • Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Prepare legal documents such as contracts, wills, and pleadings.
  • Perform comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations regarding estate planning, landlord-tenant issues, personal injury claims, workers' compensation cases, and more.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas including securities law and tribal law & regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5–8 years of legal experience, ideally including both in‑house counsel and/or law firm work.
  • Proven track record in real estate transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, financing, title work, due diligence.
  • Experience with Small Business Administration (SBA) matters, especially SBA real estate rules, SBA‑backed financing, compliance, or government loan programs (if applicable in your country).
  • Experience with contracts & negotiations: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of contracts—hotel management agreements, franchise / brand agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, construction and development contracts, leases etc.
  • Experience dealing with brand/franchise agreements – understanding brand standards, obligations, liabilities, performance guarantees, termination clauses, renewal rights etc.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation; advising on liability, indemnification, insurance, regulatory compliance.
  • Some experience in dispute resolution or litigation is a plus
