Responsibilities:

Strong familiarity with federal and state rules of procedure
Possess excellent writing skills and be comfortable taking depositions
Briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, and preparing for and conducting examinations at trial
Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis
Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings

Qualifications:

Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm environment
Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 yearly
