Works closely with CPA lawyers and paralegals on issues related to modernization of the merger guidelines; summarize and analyze federal and state legislation related to competition, including Congressional hearings; assist in facilitating collaboration with other government agencies pursuant to the President's Executive Order on Competition; conduct legal research as needed; draft related memos and briefing materials for Division leadership; and attend relevant meetings.

Minimum Weeks Required: 8

First-year (second semester only), second- or third-year law students. Must be a U.S. Citizen. A background in economics is preferred.

Uncompensated; course credit is available depending upon school requirements.
