Job Description:
Depending on the assigned division, student(s) will assist with all facets of case preparation, such as researching legal issues, drafting motions and briefs, discovery, and trial preparation. Student(s) will become familiar with the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure, the Federal Rules of Evidence, the local rules of practice for the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and the local and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. In addition, the student(s) may have the opportunity to attend depositions, meetings with agents, and accompany the attorneys to observe court proceedings.

Qualifications:
Law students who have completed their first or second year of law school. Student(s) chosen will be subject to a background investigation which can take up to two months. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary:
Student Volunteers (uncompensated); Internships or externships (with educational credit).
