The ideal candidate is an accomplished legal writer with a strong background in employment law. This role requires superior analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into compelling, well-structured arguments. You will collaborate closely with our litigation team to develop winning case strategies and draft high-quality legal documents that stand out in court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and advocacy.
- Draft and refine motions, oppositions, appellate briefs, and legal memoranda with precision and persuasive clarity.
- Work closely with trial attorneys to craft compelling legal arguments tailored to each case.
- Stay abreast of evolving employment law precedents, legislative changes, and court rulings.
- Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to strengthen and refine legal positions.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in California (preferred) or eligibility for admission.
- 4+ years of experience in legal research and writing, with a strong focus on employment law.
- Proven ability to draft high-impact legal briefs, dispositive motions, and appellate filings.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with litigation teams.
