This position assists the County Attorney's Office with court proceedings and preparing a variety of legal documents.Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills
Duty
- Prepares and assists attorneys in presenting the County's position in various court proceedings, such as bail motions, hearings, and trials
- Drafts petitions, briefs, memos, stipulations, court orders, judgments, and findings of fact, warrants, and various other legal instruments.
- Prepares pleadings and other papers in connection with lawsuits, trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings under the supervision of the County Attorney.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from an accredited law school and be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
