The Law Clerk provides legal research support, drafts pleadings and motions, prepares deposition summaries, and assists attorneys with trial preparation, all while working a flexible part time schedule that aligns with academic commitments. This role offers a clear growth path, with the potential to transition into a full time clerkship after the bar exam and advance to an associate position upon passing the bar.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Perform legal research utilizing electronic sources
  • Assist attorneys in drafting of briefs and motions
  • Prepare research memoranda, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
  • Help attorneys prepare for depositions and trials
  • Analyze deposition transcripts and prepare summaries.

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd year law student at an accredited law school
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and citation formats
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and attention to detail
