Description:

Abood Law Firm is seeking a Full -Time or Part- Time Law Clerk to join our legal team. This position is ideal for a current law student seeking hands-on legal experience or a recent law school graduate.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school OR a recent graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Official law school transcripts must be submitted with your application.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
• Prior legal or law firm experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation.
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
• Assist with discovery, document review, and case organization.
• Prepare case materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Review and summarize statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Assist with client-related and administrative tasks as directed.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and Firm information.
