Description:
Research legal data for briefs and assist the Common Pleas Judge(s) that handle Criminal, Civil, Family, Juvenile, and/or Orphans' Court matters. We welcome current graduates or 2027 graduates to begin late summer or early fall 2027.Job Duties:
- Search for and study legal records and documents to obtain data applicable to cases under consideration.
- Prepare rough drafts of briefs and memoranda recommending appropriate dispositions to the judge.
- Maintain documents files and correspondence relating to cases.
- Review the motions for appointment of masters in court proceedings.
- Attend court sessions, observe oral arguments of counsel; confer with judges on recent cases and decisions having a bearing on present pending cases.
- Perform similar or related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College education plus a graduate degree Juris doctorate in law.
- Proficient computer and analytical skills.
- Valid PA drivers' License.
