Partner with Kirkland & Ellis LLP (Los Angeles, CA). Work within the Intellectual Property practice group, represent and advise companies on intellectual property litigation including patent, copyright infringement, trade-secret misappropriation, and trademark infringement. Requires Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree, or foreign equivalent. Requires admission to the State Bar of California. Requires five (5) years of experience as an Associate, Law Clerk, or related job/role/occupation focusing on litigation matters. Must have experience in IP litigation and jury trial. Experience must include: Managing IP litigation cases including both patent and trademark matters; Drafting dispositive motions, pleadings, and discovery responses; Supervising discovery proceedings, including document review and production; Drafting expert reports for damages and infringement issues, drafted infringement and invalidity contentions; Taking and defending depositions and prepared witnesses for jury trials; Supporting jury trials, bench trials, and hearings; and Supporting client engagement activities.
