Description:

Associate with Kirkland & Ellis LLP (New York, NY). Represent corporations and private equity firms in commercial litigation including complex securities class actions, fiduciary duty disputes, antitrust litigation, and derivative claims. Requires Juris Doctor or Master of Laws (LLM) degree, or foreign equivalent. Requires admission to the New York State Bar. Requires three (3) years of experience as an Associate or related job/role/occupation with an international law firm focusing on commercial litigation matters. Experience must include: Defending corporate clients in regulatory and law-enforcement investigations involving U.S. federal agencies (including CFTC and DOJ) as well as U.K. government agencies including the FCA; Analyzing complex financial regulations and applying U.S. legal frameworks to investigative and litigation matters; Advise clients in developing internal discovery and document-management tools for responding to regulatory production requests; Reviewing and interpreting complex derivative instruments and related documentation for internal investigations; Managing large-scale document review workflows, conducting witness interviews; and Advising on litigation in connection with shareholder and regulatory disputes, including cross-border regulatory compliance.
