About the role:
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Real Estate team, with a focus on Land Use and Development. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact transactions alongside a well-established group serving a diverse client base.
What You'll Do:
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of real estate and development documents, including:
- Purchase and Sale Agreements (land and lot)
- Loan documents
- Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs)
- Easements and development agreements
- Construction contracts and cost-sharing agreements
- Partner with clients to support commercial and residential development projects across the Carolinas
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple offices
What We're Looking For:
- At least 7 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on land use and development
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex transactional matters
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects
