Description:

A Full-Service Law Firm is seeking an associate with 2-4 years' experience for our Land Use and Redevelopment Group.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental issues
  • Represent municipalities in litigation and administrative proceedings related to land use and environmental law
  • Draft legal documents, including ordinances, contracts, and resolutions related to land use and municipal governance
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on complex municipal issues
  • Collaborate with clients to address land use concerns and facilitate development projects

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar. Admission to the New York Bar is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Land Use and Redevelopment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary
