Description:
Qualifications:- Possession of Juris Doctor Degree from a NYS school or regionally accredited law school
- Attorney admitted to practice in NYS or soon to be
- Experience and/or education in public sector labor law, education law, collective bargaining and human resources preferred
- Experience serving as inside counsel for an organization
Duties:
- Provide labor relation services for component districts and the BOCES;
- Provide counsel on labor, employment, and education law matters;
- Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements
- Serve as hearing officer in student discipline hearings;
- Keep BOCES administration apprised of changes in the law and legal compliance;
- Be the point-person for outside counsel on litigation matters;
- Oversee legal compliance for the BOCES;
- Performs other related duties as required.

Salary:
- $95,000-$105,000-Full time with benefits and NYS Pension
