Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, a more than 750+ lawyer firm with 19 offices across the U.S., is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its expanding Labor & Employment Litigation practice in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant Labor & Employment Litigation experience. Successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of class action and single-plaintiff litigation and administrative charge work, including preparing position statements, evaluating claims, preparing for mediations, discovery, depositions, drafting motions, and preparing cases for arbitration and trial. The position will be responsible for researching federal, state, and local employment laws and providing strategic thinking in avoiding and resolving employment disputes. Depending on experience, the position may also be responsible for counseling HR professionals and business executives on compliance with employment laws and drafting employment agreements. Excellent research and writing skills, attention to detail, an interest in public speaking, and strong academic credentials are required.How to Apply:
