Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Admission to the California State Bar
- 4+ years of labor and employment litigation Experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and drive litigation strategy
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills Experience taking depositions and handling court appearances
- A proactive mindset, strong team orientation, and a commitment to client service and professional growth
Summary:
- Represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination,harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant matters
- Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and oversee all facets of the discovery process
- Draft substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, and complex legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and appear in court as appropriate
- Advise clients on routine employment issues and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with partners on case strategy while mentoring junior associates
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally and effectively
- Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law
