Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a Labor & Employment Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join our Del Mar (San Diego) office.Sheppard Mullin is a global Am Law 100 full-service law firm with over 1,200 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. We are currently recruiting for an outstanding associate with 3-4 years of employment litigation experience to join the Del Mar Labor & Employment team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Litigation skills, including assisting Partners with fact investigations, employee interviews, case strategy, discovery, mediations, substantive motions, etc.
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Experience with complex single plaintiff and class action/PAGA lawsuits
- Experience advising clients on California employment law advice and counseling
- Strong team player
- Stellar interpersonal communication skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Maintains a growth mindset, seeking opportunities to learn and improve as an attorney
- Dependable and consistent, ensuring reliable support and follow-through on assignments
