Ready to take your career to the next level? Kronick is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 2-5 years of litigation experience to join its Labor & Employment Practice Group. Labor and employment experience is a plus but not required. Candidate must be highly motivated, responsible, creative, with excellent writing and oral advocacy skills. Salary range for this position would be $135,000 - $195,000, depending on experience.Kronick provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking a firm that prioritize career development, advancement opportunities, and significant early legal experience. In the past year, our junior labor and employment attorneys have gone to trial, argued motions, and taken and defended depositions, with excellent success.
Primary responsibilities in this position involve working on a daily basis with a litigation team to help solve complex legal problems for our clients. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Persuasive legal writing in court briefs
- Representing clients in hearings, law and motion proceedings, and in trial.
- Reviewing and interpreting contracts
- Researching and advising clients on various legal issues
- Taking and defending depositions
- Legal research
- Propounding and responding to discovery
- Being a positive and creative member of dynamic trial teams.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-5 years of litigation experience; labor & employment experience is a plus but not required
- Exceptional research and writing skills, and a superior academic background.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including contracts.
- Interest in litigation and love of competition.
- Ability to effectively work with people, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Must be able to multi-task, creatively problem solve, and complete projects efficiently.
