Job Description:The Labor & Employment Group in the Denver office is seeking an attorney with 3-4 years of labor & employment experience. The ideal candidate would have sufficient experience with a full array of labor & employment issues, including all or many of the following: defense of claims pending before state and federal courts; union management relations; reductions in force; employment contracts negotiations; policies and employee benefits programs; and counseling human resource managers and supervisors regarding employee matters and compliance issues. Excellent working knowledge of Colorado and federal employment statutes and regulations required. Admission to the Colorado bar, immediate transferable skills, and a strong academic background with excellent writing skills are also required. Substantial hearing and deposition experience is a plus, as is labor & employment collective and class action experience. Only candidates who meet the required criteria will be considered. In accordance with the Colorado Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in Colorado is $260,000 - $310,000/yr. This range is specific to this location and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
