Holland & Hart is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the firm in its Denver location. The application window is anticipated to close on or after August 30, 2026. Holland & Hart reserves the right to close the position prior to or after this date.Position Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of experience, with a significant emphasis in traditional management side labor law, (ideally including NLRA and RLA work), along with employment law experience, be strong writers, and possess excellent research and analytical skills. Preferred candidates will possess a strong academic background, have compelling law school experience (e.g., law review, law journal, etc.) and/or have judicial clerkship experience. We are seeking candidates who can take depositions, handle administrative hearings, and serve as second chair in trials. A federal clerkship is highly desired but not required.
Compensation and Expectations
Holland & Hart's compensation is merit-based—you'll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team's efforts. In compliance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 – $270,000 for applicants based in Colorado.
Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Judicial clerks are eligible for a one-time bonus immediately following the completion of a judicial clerkship with a federal appellate, federal district, tax court, state supreme court, or state appellate court.
Holland & Hart expects associate attorneys to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours.
