Description:
Associate in Texas with 4 to 6 years of labor and employment defense
experience to join expanding national labor and employment practice. The
ideal candidate must have experience representing employers in federal
and state court litigation, and have substantive experience handling
wage and hour class action and collective actions and cases involving
discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Key responsibilities
include fact investigation, exposure analysis, managing discovery,
drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and advising
clients on complex employment law compliance issues. Experience with
alternative dispute resolution, client counseling, labor and workplace
investigations is highly valued. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor
degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of the State
Bar of Texas. This position can be located in any of the Firm's Austin,
Dallas or Houston offices. Hybrid and remote arrangements are available.
