Essential Duties and Qualifications
  • Conduct Legal Research and Draft Memoranda, Employment-Related Contracts, Responsive Pleadings, Motions, and Briefs.
  • Advise Clients on State and Federal Labor and Employment Laws, Including Fair Employment, Wage and Hour, Labor Relations, and Leave Laws.
  • Represent Clients Before State and Federal Administrative Agencies and Courts, Including Arguing Motions, Taking and Defending Depositions, and Assisting with Case Strategy, Trial Preparation, and Other Litigation Matters.
  • Stay Current on Legal Developments Affecting Labor, Employment, and Litigation, and Provide Creative, Practical Legal Solutions that Help Clients Achieve Their Objectives in Complex, High-Stakes Matters.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 4+ Years of Experience in Labor & Employment Law, with Meaningful Experience Handling Employment-Related Litigation
  • Excellent Research, Writing and Drafting Skills
  • Proven Ability to Work Within a Fast-Paced Team Environment with Multiple Deadlines and Demands Both Internally and Externally
  • Superior Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Ability to Work Full-Time, Including Variable Hours that Flex with Client Needs
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both Oral and Written)
  • Interest in A Collaborative, Intellectually Stimulating Environment with A Strong Desire to Contribute to Team and Client Success
  • J.D. from Aba Accredited Law School
  • Admitted or Eligible for Admission to Practice in Wisconsin.
