Our Los Angeles office is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience for varied caseloads including Professional Liability and Securities/FINRA. CA bar admission is required for diverse practice. Strong writing and analytical skills are a must. Salary is commensurate with experience, but the range for this position is $90,000.00-$120,000.00.

  • Possess relevant technology competencies such as LexisNexis, and time-billing software.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong research and legal writing skills.
  • Desire to work additional hours as deemed necessary based on caseload.

Responsibilities:
  • Associate responsibilities include representation of clients in legal proceedings, research and preparation of legal documents and pleadings, handling discovery, and assisting partners/clients in legal transactions.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Efficient management of multiple cases.
  • Timely preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery to opposing parties.
  • Participate in mediations, hearings, and depositions as required.
  • Client interaction and problem resolution as it relates to cases.
  • Integration of best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases.
  • Evaluation of findings and development of strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • On-time completion of reports/projects, in adherence to partner and client needs/guidelines.
  • Accurate and timely recording of billable hours, in adherence to client guidelines and Firm policy.
